The Project Manager is responsible for supporting and managing Project Leaders regarding all aspects of project delivery. He/she, mostly together with the Account Manager, represents the company vis-à-vis the customers and is responsible for all economic project decisions. The Project Manager supports the further training of his employees, organises trainee projects and develops a sustainable hierarchy of young professionals.
The Project Manager optimises the processes and ensures the quality of his/her projects. Moreover, he/she develops measures to ensure long-term customer relations and customer satisfaction regarding project implementation.
The Project Manager is a line manager for all staff in his/her sector. He/she has power of attorney, is responsible towards the customer and reports directly to Senior Management.
Area of Responsibility
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering the order starting from the acquisition to the going live/UAT and transfer of the customer to Customer Care. His/her goal is to ensure an optimum balance between profitability and customer satisfaction. Moreover, he/she promotes and manages his/her employees and makes sure that their skills are developed to the full, that they are optimally trained and deployed and achieve an utilisation level of 70%. The Project Manager, in collaboration with the Human Resources Department, is responsible for hiring and discharging his/her employees as well as for their appropriate salaries.
